JOB TITLE: Assistant Shop Manager
REPORTING TO: Shop Manager
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Work Experience Learners and Volunteers
HOURS:22.5 hours a week including weekend duties and attendance at evening meetings as required for which time off in lieu are granted.
ANNUAL LEAVE: 25 days (rising to 30 after 5 years’ service), plus 8 days Bank/Public Holidays
SALARY: £28.000 per annum pro rata
PROBATION PERIOD: Probation: 3 months (6-week review), followed by permanent contract
ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an Assistant Shop Manager for our busy Highgate charity shop. This hands-on retail role is ideal for someone who enjoys charity retail, thrives on initiative, is motivated to take on responsibility for shop performance, and is passionate about working with volunteers and supporting a meaningful cause.
