Alison, a lifelong Camden resident became an Advocate for Parents and Children with Learning Differences due to personal experience.  She has managed local council services for children and young people and been Head of Governance at the Audit Commission.  Alison has chaired 5 schools, including a special boarding school and is a former Camden Councillor.

Mark is a Chartered Accountant, with extensive experience of charity and not-for-profit management. Former Director, Finance and Corporate Services at Big Lottery Fund. Retired from paid work, and now supporting a number of charities as Treasurer, long term resident of Haringey and former Haringey Councillor.

Penny is an experienced strategic leader in education, working first as a teacher, then in an international children's charity.  She has been a London local authority senior leader, responsible for complex children and family services with large diverse staff teams. Penny’s expertise includes early childhood, learning and development, early help, quality improvement and partnership working.

Jaspal Dhaliwal is the Head of Service of Our Newham Learning & Skills, and is responsible for providing an excellent adult and community learning service that is focussed on the highest standards, employment outcomes and the health and wellbeing of residents.  Jaspal has expertise in inclusion, education, skills, employment and lifelong learning.

Martin is a qualified accountant with a wealth of experience in the public sector.  His most recent role was at Haverstock School in Camden as Director of Finance & Operations.  As a result of family experience, he is passionate about improving support services so that frontline education received by students is as good as it can be.

Julie is a proud parent of two teenage daughters and has worked her way through a highly complex special needs assessment process.  Julie also has two cats and one very lively dog.  Julie works part-time as a teacher for a local primary school.  It is a job she finds rewarding and a whole lot of fun.

Katherine lives nearby in Highgate and has two grown up kids who went to school locally so she knows the area well.  Katherine works in marketing and her role as a Trustee is to lead on our fundraising strategy, and to make sure people know about all the brilliant work at Harington.

Swee is a volunteer at Harington, as well as being a Harington Trustee.  Swee supports the students as well as being the Treasurer of the Friends of Harington.  Her background is in the finance industry, having worked in the City as a fund manager.

Tricia is a long term resident of Highgate and has a broad background in education.  Her experience includes teaching in further and higher education, Head of a Community Education Unit, Director of Human Resources at an FE College and HR consultant to various Local Authorities and Universities.  She has been a school governor for over 15 years.
